Curriculum for Excellence
The "Curriculum for Excellence" has been developed by "Learning & Teaching Scotland" for the Scottish Government. The purpose of the curriculum is :- to enable each child or young person to be a successful learner, a confident individual, a responsible citizen and an effective contributor.
Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre has developed an interface document which details the means by which we deliver educational experiences in compliance with the "Curriculum for Excellence".
The interface document details the experiences for each learning level, whether the experience takes place at the centre, or at the school. In addition, the document details the expected outcomes of each experience. Three specific elements are spread over all eight curriculum subjects, "Health & Wellbeing", "Literacy" and "Numeracy", individuals have a responsibility to reinforce and develop these elements throughout the curriculum.
