All activities within the Bird of Prey Centre, or associated with the operation of the centre, are covered by our Public Liability Insurance. The prices stated are per person. Discount is available for groups of two or more.
Flying Experience
For £20, you will experience the sensation of the hawk flying to your glove. A fifteen to twenty minute session, with you flying the hawk. Price includes entry to the visitor centre and tour ; a photograph of you with the hawk ; and a certificate as a memento.
Hawk Walk
For £35, you will fly one of our hawks for an hour. Suitable for the more energetic, flying the bird through the trees. Price includes entry to the visitor centre and tour ; a one hour hawk walk ; a photograph of you with the hawk ; and a certificate as a memento.
Meet the Owls Experience
For £60, you can spend a few fun filled hours getting to know our owls. See how cute and cuddly they can be, even the European Eagle Owl. You will enjoy handling several of our owls, from the small White Faced Scops Owl, up to the largest, the European Eagle Owl. Price includes entry to the visitor centre and guided tour ; owl handling session ; a photograph of you with one of the owls ; and a certificate as a memento.
Hunting Expedition
For £100, you can take part in a three hour hunting expedition, with you flying the hawk. This is what falconry is all about, hunting prey in it's natural habitat. Price includes entry to the visitor centre and tour ; one, or two, hunting sessions ; a photograph of you with the hawk ; and a certificate as a memento.

Meet the Birds Experience
For £100, you can enjoy an action packed, four hour close encounter at the centre. You will receive tuition in the basics of falconry, learn the falconers' knot, an encounter with an Eagle Owl, meet and handle a selection of hawks, falcons, and owls, fly a hawk, and, possibly handle our Golden Eagle. Price includes entry to the visitor centre and guided tour ; tuition session ; bird handling session ; a hawk flying session ; a photograph of you with your favourite bird ; and a certificate as a memento.

Introduction to Falconry Day
For £150, you can enjoy a unique insight into the requirements for keeping a Bird of Prey. During your day with us you will receive instruction in the care of the birds, receive information on the different species, instruction in making bird furniture and equipment, instruction on handling and training, learn the falconers' knot. You will handle a selection of birds, flying birds for training or exercising, possibly the Golden Eagle. Price includes entry to the visitor centre and guided tour ; work experience session, assisting with the everyday duties ; tuition session ; bird handling session ; a hawk flying session ; a photograph of you and your favourite bird ; and a certificate as a memento. This experience is designed as an introduction for those considering owning and caring for a Bird of Prey.
